98' Grand prix Uprated alternator

Hey I'm looking for an uprated alternator for a 98 grand prix gt but can't seem to find one. any help would be great. problem is already have 750cca bat and 2 farad cap and the amp is only 1000 watt so last piece of the puzzle is the alternator but can't find one pushing more than 105 amp.

why exactly do you need an upgraded amp with the 2 farad cap?

Re: 98' Grand prix Uprated alternator

reason i need an uprated alternator is that even with the car and bat the lights still dimm, so i had the stock alt tested and irts only pushing out 63% and if i'm going to buy a new alternator then i'm goin to spend the money and get one thats good. the plan is to upgrade the system and add another amp. And thanks for the ebay link tblake

It must be some sweet system.

No prob with the link. I'd be iffy with ebay stuff though. make sure you check his feedback before you bid. Maybe even email a few people who have bought his HO alternators and see if they acutally put out what he says they do.
