Head swap?
I have an 85 crx that the timing belt broke on. I pulled the head and most valves are bent.
I have a local guy with a D16A6 head, will this bolt right onto my D15A2 block? My car is carb'd if the intake manifold makes a difference? Thanks Mark |

Re: Head swap?
No, it won't. Simply put.
You can swap the complete D16A6 engine, But you'll need to change the engine mount. One or two of the bolts on the tranny won't line up right either, and you'll have to drill/tap a hole to mount the starter, IIRC. You could also lookup "hydra" on redpepperracing.com... or just ask lxndr, he might know about it. There are only a couple things you can do as far as swaps involving that block... and if you're stock carb'd, that gives you even fewer "easy" options.
