Hi, New to forum but not new to caddys' This is my 4th..I just acquired a 96 deville and the Parking Brake won't release automatically. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

One of two things- it may need the pressure let off while releasing with the little solenoid-- so hold varying amounts of foot pressure against it while you shift-
or- just reach in behind and release it manually- under the dash againt kick-panel- pull in or out against the release mechanism- you may need a screwdriver to help it- Its been awhile since I did one like that.
