'93 grand Am key gets hot

and car won't start. Turns over fine.Will run fine in the morning. Sits for a couple hours and won't start. Put in ign. module and fuel pump. Niece says the key gets hot.

Welcome to AF !!
Check the crank position sensor on the no start.
I can PM you a link if you need for testing.

Also sounds like your ignition switch could be bad or have a bad short in its circuit, the key shouldnt be getting hot !!

Also check out the wires on the starter and the fuseable links close to it.
