97 grand cherokee tsi 5.2L v8 trying to replace rear pinion bearings. got c clips out and brackets off. trying to spread axles to get carrier out. do i need to get a bearing remover and take that axle bearings out after removing hub? or is it something i can do while inside the diff? so basically mate shaft is out and c clips out. what do i do next to get gears and carrier out to remove the pinion to put in new bearings? do i need special tools? anything would help fellas. really appreciate all the help! thanks .
