Street Legal Track Toy

My favorite cars are Caterham 7 Superlight , Ariel Atom, KTM X-Bow and Lotus 2-Eleven.

These cars are street legal track toys. Unfortunately, none of these cars are street legal in Canada or US. Also, 60K+ price tags seems too steep for a toy.

If I had my way, these would be my requirements for an ideal car.

- priced around 30K
- around 1500lb curb weight
- double-wishbone suspensions all around
- mid-engine configuration
- sub 2L engine
- inexpesive replacement body and parts
- yellow

What are yours?

Re: Street Legal Track Toy

Not true... there are ways to get at least some of them into the states and street legal.

The Noble is a bit more than your specs but works for me. Plus the roof allows street driving year round.

Re: Street Legal Track Toy

You've pretty much described my car! You can build your own from about $15K or get a full roller minus engine for $25K or even a completed car for around $30K with Ecotec 2.0SS driveline. http://www.grabercars.com

This is me going so fast my hair blew right off!
