03 bad bcm, delay in door locks and high beam dash light

I have a 2003 Impala LS 3.8 and think I might be having a bcm issue. Recently while driving the security light came on and also flashed a message “High Beam Out”. The high Beams actually work, but when I switch them on there is about a 5 second delay until the blue high beam dash light comes on. Same when I switch to low beams it takes about 5 seconds to go off. I also have an intermittent issue with a delay in the door locks. I have to hold the door switch and it takes about 5 seconds for them to actually lock or unlock. It does the same thing on the passenger switch. No problem when switching to drive, the doors lock right away. The battery is new and has been load tested. Does this sound like a bad bcm, and if it goes all the way out will the car eventually not start?
