Never really found the F40 as "handsome" as you put it, but I do respect it, and you've done a fantastic job. I love the little details and the colour looks great. One minor gripe would be that it appears to have slight orange peel.

Re: The last Ferrari , F40 ! (Tamiya/Finished)

Ah, a little intro on the F40...

yes, not really the most beautiful one but 101% purposeful!
sheer brute & raw turbo machine...just like what CLARK from TOP GEAR said, when he sped down the track...just look at his expressions!

no aircon, no power windows, no power steering, no electronic assist in whatsoever...raw, just raw!!!

ok, back to the model...standard construction here, i can see the rear gate problem(all tamiya F40s rear gates can't flush with the body!). a little more layer of gloss with slight rubbing will definitely bring the best out of it.

congrates on your completion! i always feel happy for those who have completed a ferrari of any type...
you have 1 ferrari there which i've yet to build for my display!

Re: The last Ferrari , F40 ! (Tamiya/Finished)

Hey, I like the weathering on the underpanels and engine--it really livens up the model--I don't think I've seen many pics of a clean F40 engine. A black wash would also help with the used look.

oh don't be angry bro...it's not your fault but tamiya's molding. actually some of the past ferrari builders here have managed to correct the problem by sanding somewhere at the roof area or even redo the rear hinges...

anyway, trust me...you'll get better & better everytime you build.
hope to see another ferrari model from you real soon!

congrates again!
