fornt end not right

the front end of my 95 camaro has vibreations dirves fine except for that my mechanic drove the car and said it needed a right front hub assembly. my question is why shouldn't I replace the wheel bearing ?

bearing is part of hub assembly,cannot be done seperately

well I obviously am surprised, you mean that if the wheel bearing goes out, the hub assembly has to be replaced. it can't be pressed out and a new one put in, or is replacing the assembly a better solution? By the way thanks for the prompt and very informative answer.

Correct. The hub is a sealed integral assembly. there is one on E bay now for $84 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...08201727r31714
After that you are looking at around $135 from a parts store.
Happily the 3rd gens still used the old spindles with bearings that just slip on and off.
