front end wobble = bad hub?

New tie rod ends, tires & 4/W align. are in my '01 SE 3.1L 92kmi. & its still slightly wobbling above 60mph especially under braking. I'm not getting steering wheel twitching, it makes the whole car sorta rumble, I feel it thru the seat. Braking gives a pulsing pedal feedback, but discs are in tolerances for runout, & thickness variation. Lower ball joints seem ok. With car jacked up I can still feel about .5mm(.020") play on drivers side only, when grabbing tire 12&6 o'clock also 9&3. I cross rough rail tracks 4x daily M-F and am orig. owner. So how should I check the hub bearing or what else can it be?

Re: front end wobble = bad hub?

I know it sounds stupid, but how's your tire balance?

I don't know for sure if a bad hub would give wobble...unless the hub was REALLY bad. I've had bad hubs on many cars I've owned (including my GTP) and I've never developed a wobble from it.
