Re: design...took me 3x to spell right
ahh. the elise, imo, waste of 40g unless you're a racecar driver looking for something to drive to the raceshop monday thru wednesday...just spend 10g more and get the exige or 25g more and get the exige s

elise/exige are just track toys. Impressive toys, but still toys. I dont want to have to rev the balls off an engine to get something out of it.

I'm sorry, I have to correct a little bit of misinformation here . They had active aero in 96. 97 started the hoop spoiler. tunable exhaust was ended in 94, and the ECS was ended half way through 95 (glass roof 95's had ECS, electric sunroof 95's had no ECS). ALL YEARS HAD AWS in the VR-4's. I don't know who made up that story.

Yep every VR4 had AWS. Only the TT Stealths lost AWS in 95.

o...u learn something new everyday. in this case me. granted i won't lie, i know a lot more bout the stealth than the 3k, just my preferance.
is there a way someone can make a post-it of the differences between a 3/s from yr to yr. not just help from different things found on different websites, instead it can be all located here, for those looking to buy, and those who would like to know...namely me....and maybe some others...please.

hmm...noticed a couple missing and incorrect things on that sight...such as optional air dam on the 93 vr4 and no mention of the differences from 91 vr4 to 92 vr4.

Re: design...took me 3x to spell right
that's why you should never take just one website's data as fact.
As for your comment on the Elise being a toy; you're pretty much spot on. It's also quite funny that it's a Mitsubishi GTO owner saying that because on paper, the Elise really is almost the exact opposite in execution, to the GTO. If you ever get a chance, you really should have a play with one; you're going to love it. It's also a very useable daily car despite what the nay sayers tell you. What other (claimed) sub 5 sec 0-60 car and 38-40 mpg car can you think of? In a place like London, it makes for the perfect "city car".

Re: design...took me 3x to spell right
i've driven an elise, it was fun, but i don't really see me being able to drive it daily, and i drive a 944 with next to nothing on the interior...hell all i got is the gauge cluster and 2 front seats...and some of the center consol(only so i can have somewhere to put insurance/registration papers. i can understand the good acceleration with the good mpg. true my 944 is a 7.9sec 0-60 but i still do get 35mpg easily on hwy.
as for the website, that's y i was saying to post the info on this site, at least here people are specialized enough to tell differences not just between level and car, but also year and what options/colors were available
