1990 Lebaron header panel and driver side fender removal

Hey everyone,

I'm new to these forums and could use some help removing the header panel and driver side fender on my 1990 lebaron Convertible 3.0L V6 GTC (j-body). I have the Haynes manual for it, but after I removed all the bolts I could find, I still can't get the header panel off. It looks like I'm going to have to remove the whole bumper just to take off the fender also. The header panel is loose but something is still holding it on and I can't find from where. Anyone more knowledgeable and has experience could please give me some pointers, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've never had to remove mine so I don't know. However, I do have the Chrysler service manuals at home. I'm out of town on business right now. I get back Thursday. When I get home I can get you the exact removal instructions.

Re: 1990 Lebaron header panel and driver side fender removal

1. Loosen fascia to the lower attaching screws of the lower grill and headlamp assembly can be removed from the fenders.
2. Removed the upper attaching fasteners of the grill and headlamp assembly to fenders.
3. Remove fasteners from the headlamp housing to closure panel.
4. Remove the fasteners from the headlamp motor mounting bracket to upper and lower cross-bar of the grill and headlamp mounting assembly.
5. Disconnect headlamp wiring harness and remove grill and headlamp assembly.

These are the removal instructions from the Chrysler service manuals. It says nothing about removing the front bumper.
