light comes on while taking turns

Hey guys,

so I noticed lately that I have this mysterious light come on sometimes when i'm taking turns at high speeds (at least thats when I have noticed it most).

i'm not sure what light it is cause it only flashes for an instant but its located on the bottom right of my instrument panel.

so if anyone could let me know what is possibly going on my car that would be great thanks

What color is it? I'll bet its the low coolant light. The low coolant level light is amber by the way.

yeah, it is kind of amber. Why would it come on during turns.

I guess I will check my coolant levels out

Chances are that when your turning, the fluid is sloshing around and causing the sensor to read that there is not fluid. Check it and top it off.

it still seems to be coming on, are you guys sure its the low coolant light, could it be something else?

I wish it would stay on for more then a quarter of a second

Is it red? The oil pressure light may come on if it's low. Mine done that a couple times back when I was leaking oil badly and I wouldn't check it. If I hit a turn hard, it'd flash on just for a split second and then cut out.

It has happened to me, even in the reverse. When I over heated and lost some of my coolant out the dump tube at the North Meet, my low coolant light was on and I had to speed up real fast to get around a semi, then lock them up so I didnt hit Dave which turned my coolant light off for a while. Do you happen to be catching what color it is?

orangeish, its the far bottom right light

Does it look like a radiator/Roman temple/fence gate/insert random thing people have come up with on Tuners?

If so, coolant.

Thanks. Makes me feel good that I still have the rear-end to my car.

My coolant light has NEVER come on in my car. Even with 4 different coolant tanks and sensors, it has never come on. Don't really care, but just always kinda wondered why not.
