Tried everything, still nothing

1990 xj pressure washed engine now wont start. Cranks over strong but wont fire.If I pull the intake tube off and pour a little gas down the Idle speed control hole it starts up but then runs at a high idle until i slightly plug the hole. Radio keeps cutting out, no dash lights, blinkers and my lights are fairly dim. Replaced the map sensor. fuel is no problem, spark is no problem and it runs and drives fine after starting, but if i shut it off and try to restart, nothing. Brand new optima yellow, new terminals. For the last few months every other morning/afternoon or so it wouldnt start until i wiggled each of the ??injector wires?? along fuel rail, then it woud start right up,now nothing works.so what is wrong with my machine, please help gong on vacation this weekend and need it fixed! Thank you
