Where is ECM located?

I want to check the electrical connections to the ECM in my 2000 Century. My Chiltons manual says it's located undeer the hood next to the right front strut tower. My car has a fuse box located in that position, so where is the ECM, behind the glove box?

Thanks,

Re: Where is ECM located?

I know it is behind the glove box in my GM. That would be a good place to start.

Re: Where is ECM located?

'97 and up Regal and Century models have the PCM inside the air box where the air filter is located. You should see the PCM/engine wiring harness coming up from underneath to the air box.

Are you talking about the engine air filter of the cabin air filter?

Thanks,
