Of the hunters I know most are, oddly enough, democrats. I can't see a hunter giving up their guns. That's not really scientific, but lets say half of hunters are democrats... that's a huge number of democrats voting for McCain just on one issue.EDIT: The name of the magazine is "American Hunter", and I was mistaken, there are 12.5 million active hunters. I don't know where I got 14.

Not sure what happened, but looks like this is the new Presidential poll! On a side note, I saw Bill Clinton talk in my town a few days ago.

So has anybody heard about Rev. Wright's sermon? In case you didn't know, he was the pastor at Obama's church. Anyway, here it is.
Quote:
I'm sorry but this right here is one reason a whole lot of white folks won't vote for a black. They're afraid they'll get in there and their little man syndrome will kick in. You have Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson running around trying to be the voice of all black people and now this. Oh yeah they'll say, "America is just racist, that's why a black can't get into office!" No, even though some people still are, your radical bull shit keeps everyday people from trusting you. I didn't like Obama anyway but this is just aweful. Sure he's distancing himself but he was there for 20 years listening to that crap. Poor Martin Luther King Jr. is obviously spinning in his grave.

Re: AF U.S Presidential Poll! (Pt. 2)
I have already read that speech. Like I said before, I would be tempted to leave if Obama hits office. He is nothing short of a nut case. I would rather almost have Clinton (eww that sounds bad) as a president than that delusional nut.

You realise those are Rev. Wright's words, not Obama's, right?

I think the following article is a very penetrating look at what the illusion of choice brings us: http://english.aljazeera.net/news/am...053652281.html

Re: AF U.S Presidential Poll! (Pt. 2)
Despite his stance on Iraq (we can't just leave), I favored Paul. Though I doubt he could've implemented all of his policies, his pledge to reduce the size of our bloated Federal government was dead-on.
I'm no fan of McCain, but nothing could be worse for our country than Obama. He'll raise taxes on the upper-income brackets and corporations (great idea in a struggling economy) to pay for his socialistic policies. These taxes will be paid by the consumer, mainly (little guy gets the shaft, again, lol). As the economy slows down and more companies move offshore to avoid taxes, revenue falls off. Then, we have an even bigger government operating in the red. Besides, Obama approves of the Patriot Act, "war on terror", and immunity for communications companies that Bush wanted. In other words, he's Bush with a tan.
