1989 marquee with a leaking oil pan. Any good fixes?
Anyone have a good fix for an oil pan with lots of porosity. To change it requires taking the engine out. Is there a easier method?

Re: 1989 marquee with a leaking oil pan. Any good fixes?
You can swap the oil pan without removing the engine. However, you need to remove a lot of stuff from the top of engine and firewall area. Then it has to be jacked up about 6 inches, then reach inside the pan and remove the oil pump, then remove the pan.

X2 what danielsatur suggested. My mom's pan was leaking last March. Cleaned it up, dabbed some mighty putty and alls good up to now. Keeping an eye on it.
