94 bonnie with a BAD heater core

I have a 94 b-ville with a bad heater core that leaked all over my carpet a couple of months ago. I have re-routed the cooling hoses back into the engine to keep it cool. Now I need to go ahead and replace it before the cold weather gets here. I have read the related threads and I found a method that I would like to try: the one that dosen't involve removing the airbags. I definitely need some further gudance because the haynes manual I bought would be better off fixing a wobly table than helping me remove the dash.
