2001 Corvette C5R - #2 Daytona

Yes...here's another one! :-)

Everything is painted and parts are going together. Paint should get polished up by this weekend, then decaled, clear coated, and compounded.

This is my first "real" build!

Good luck getting the body to fit on the chassis correctly. That is the real flaw of that kit. The front of the body will not sit flat on the lip of the chassis. Let me know how it goes. Anyone have any experience solving this problem?

For what it's worth, I have already cut the body in three pieces like in some of the other C5R threads. I put the front end on what you see just briefly, but didn't check to see if it matched up. I'll let you know.
