Yamaha YZR-M1 Spiderman question

Hi all, as i have just finished my Enzo build, im now working on the spidey bike! But i got a problem halfway through after refering to many of the finished build as well as my reference pics. As you guys can seen from the side cowling in the first pic, the upper portion of it doesnt have any spiderman mesh. But from what i have seen so far from other builds, as well as the instruction sheet of the decals, it seem to have the mesh decals on the upper portion. Well, i just wish to know whthr im correct to say there should be no mesh. Any opinions or comments?

thanks!

Great pic!!
I note two things.
1.The mesh does appear to fade toward the upper portion of the fairing.
2.The red colour is most certainly flourescent red.

I guess this side panel is one piece that was auctioned off after the race. The damage is from Melandri binning the bike at the end of the main straight. Cool.

I agree

I don't know, maybe if you put the decal, and then you put the blue paint into an airbrush then you should paint the upper part, with a very smooth coat on the limit of the area.

Nice picture! Anyone know for how much money it has been bid??

Roca.

Hi i agree with the point that it fades in the color, but if u look carefully, those mesh which bends inwards (highlighted in green) will fades whereas those (highlighted in yellow) which is directly reflected light should show the mesh if theres really one too. Besides these areas i found that there are still another few areas that im suspicious too, like the seat area. I have already posted another few pics to show what i mean. Seriously i still think it should not have mesh but i may be wrong, i just cant find more closeup pics of this bike! Does anyone happens to know where i can find or if anybody has more pics of them? thanks

These few pics, u can see that they are consisitently without the mesh in that area, under different angle of lighting.

Looking at the last two pics, u can also clearly seen there is no clear signs of mesh on the area just under the butt of melandri! despite a direct hit of light on them, if u comapre with other areas that receive the same angle of lighting. Well, this is still my observation from the reference pics i have but i need more to confirm my point, so if anyone do have them, please show mi alright? haha thanks!!!
