Wondering what kind of gas can be used
Ok i dont have a 240sx yet but i plan on having one. and hopefully it have a SR20DET already in it and working strong. But what im wondering is what kind of gas can that engine handle. Can i use the normal somewhat cheap gas even though its $4s or would i have to get the premium fuel??? if i sound retarted im sry i just dont know much bout this engine.

Re: Wondering what kind of gas can be used
A general rule of thumb: with turbocharged engines, high performance, high compression engines, you need the highest octane fuel (91/93 depending on where you live). You don't want pre-detonation caused by crappy low octane fuel which will make the engine explode.
If you want to stay with cheap gas, find an unmodified or relatively unmodified KA24 car, get a CAI, exhaust manifold and quality exhaust, you'll have fun.
