Tranny Problem- Aamco or Dealer?

Its not that big of an issue, just something I noticed while driving.

When I let of the brake to accellerate, it feels like I am going over small bumps. It then goes away once I get above 30mph. Could be the trans shifting rough?

Also, I plan on having the trans fluid flushed. With your opinion, who should I go to? Aamco or a Ford Dealer?

Kind of sounds like you have an engine misfire, but it's difficult to tell without more detail. You could also have a vacuum leak. Have you checked the transmission fluid for signs of an issue? What you describe doesn't really sound like a transmission issue.

Additionally, what year is the Explorer? Which engine does it have?
