Help parts name cant find it anywhere

Ok to make a long story short the 2003 aztek hit some rocks and popped the tire now the piece i thought was the "Control arm" the metal bracket on the bottom that connects to the frame is bent and the tire is misaligned i believe this piece has the ball joint on it. the car is currently being towed here so if needed i can take pictures. but newayz does anyone know what this piece is called its like a triangler bracket that connects to the frame and the other piece on the end is the ball joint i believe tried to look for control arms but places only seem to have the rear control arms need help plz and thanks
