Nissan NISMO GT-R by Veyron with Stock GT-R by Zoom Zoom

Both models were built in the past week, and both finished on Friday the 4th. Cool to see them side by side; Veyron built his as another in his series of silver NISMO Nissans, this being a "what if" at this point. My GT-R is totally stock and totally OOB, built for an upcoming magazine review. The red one is painted in Tamiya bright red over Testors Italian Red, and used the Tamiya P/E detail set.

Re: Nissan NISMO GT-R by Veyron with Stock GT-R by Zoom Zoom

I think the thinner tires on the nismo make the wheels looks weird/don't "fill out " the wheel wells like the stock tires do.
Still not a fan of the black rear end. Love the blacked out fender vent though.

edit: 2nd to last pic it actualy looks like the nismo's front wheel is smaller compared to the red one!!

Both look great. I like the originality of the silver one, even with its "pug-face rear," and the red paint looks fantastic on the other. One thing I don't like on Veyron's is the use of flat black for all the detailing (grill, rear, a-pillars).

Excellent models! Both look great! I like the red one for the color and the silver one for it's theme.

i still kinda opt for the sliver nismo...maybe i'm doing too much of ferraris lately...the color red kinda hurts my eye balls! hehe...

both finished to the highest standards, i must say...
have you forgotten to blacken the red car exhausts?

Dang, I like 'em both a whole bunch!! Uninteresting trivia: Bob and Brian are the two builders that "introduced" me to the concept of building "Import" cars. Thanks guys!

You're welcome

But I must warn you, Imports are gateway subjects, now we're going to worry that they might turn you onto more sinister subject matter...

Looking great. Nice shine you have achieved. You seem to have used quite different parts (f.ex. the rear exhaust pipes). I like both a lot - but the red color combination suits my eyes more...

Zoom used the Tamiya photo etch set which includes alum. exhaust tips, I used the stock ones...plus we painted the inside of them differently.

Both look nice by themselves, and these pair shots just make them 10x better! Go Team Skyline!

I thought you couldn't post pics of your work before the mag was released? But regardless, sweet work. I thought a red r35 would look weird, but you proved me wrong. Nice detailing work, and veyron that nismo looks great.
