1994 Intrepid 3.5 V6 Steering/Suspension noise
My 1994 Intrepid has an annoying problem. Over the past few months it's been making this shaking noise. It strangely does it when going over cracks in the road but is not really noticeable when running over larger bumps. I would say I can feel it more through the gas pedal than the steering wheel but barely through either one. I'm not really sure. It's coming from the front drivers side somewhere between the strut area and in front of the steering wheel. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks...

Re: 1994 Intrepid 3.5 V6 Steering/Suspension noise
Based on past experience, check your inner tie rod end bushings. The original rubber bushings are prone to failure and will lead to a looseness in steering and a definite clunking. They are attached to the R&P at the center of the firewall behind the intake plenum. Moog makes a urethane replacement set that are split (two piece) for ease of installation. The kit also includes new bolts, washers and a locking plate. It worked wonders for me!

Thanks, I've seen that kit at Advance for less than $20.00. I'll give it a shot.
