Clunking in rear

There is a rhythmic clunking in the rear of my 2wd '06 xterra when it is in neutral and park. I noticed it when it started getting up toward 25k miles. It is still under warranty, but I wanted to know if anyone else has heard this or has any suggestions on what it may be.
