1999 Suburban wont start after replacing batt.

Here's the situation:

My 99 1500 Suburban has been parked for 3 weeks. I left the interior lights on which killed both the batteries. I guessing they might have lasted for about a week which means the Suburban probably sat there for a couple of weeks with completely dead batteries.

I replaced the batteries and now it will not stay running. It cranks up and runs for about a second then dies.

I'm thinking it might have something to do with the passlock system, but the security light is not lit up.

What could this be?

Go threw the relearn procedure.
Key on for 10 minute untill security light goes out and then off and on 3 times.
Then off and see if it will start.

Didn't work, keep in mind the security light is not on.

The Suburban worked perfectly when I parked it.

The security light doesn't come on like the others (anti-lock, check engine, etc...) do with the key forward. I've never seen it lit up. It is there though, I looked for it with a flash light.

I already tried to lock and unlock the door with a key, just the driver's side.

Any ideas before I have to sacrafice myself to the stealership?

Sounds like it is time for a body capable scanner.
If you do not want to go to dealer look around for a good regular repair shop that has a good body/engine capable scanner.
