Question Power Mirror (only one side) not working - Troubleshooting ideas?

My 97 marquis has power side mirrors and the drivers side works fine but the passenger side does not work, (used to work fine) no accidents or anything just stopped working on the passenger side.

Any suggestions on what i can check or do, the car sits alot unused so it maybe even just a bit frozen up, would it hurt anything for me to manually go move the mirror around and see if it maybe just got a bit stuck from sitting too much?

Maybe pull the drivers door panel off and inspect where the switch is (that small switch that makes it operate driver or passenger side) might not be making full contact or something.

Just looking for any suggestions or common reasons that I can try before taking it in for a no doubt expensive repair.

Bill

Check your switch first. Then go to the passenger mirror and check for current while the switch is being moved.
