Chad82's '71 LeMans project

Yeah, I so messed his thread up.
So basically my questions were......(before I deleted them from his thread)
1) What colors?
2) Were they heated leather seats?
3) What wheels will be on the finished project?

....That will teach me to post then read!
I'm use to the modeling forum....thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Re: Chad82's '71 LeMans project

1) Interior is all kinds of colors right now. It will eventually be grey seats on black. Original interior was white and it is getting replaced piece by piece. Exterior I haven't decided for sure but I am leaning towards orange with a $50 rustoleum paint job. I do agree with orange being domain of Mopars and Judges, but with a $50 paint job you don't have infinite choices. A yellow or a candy red are options, but I couldn't find any in the super cheap stuff.
2) Seats aren't heated, but I don't think it would change installation too much. I have 3 wires on my harness for the seats, and only used 2. There were 2 like 16 gauge wires and one like 20+ gauge. I have no idea what the 20 gauge is for, so its just sitting off on the side now. With heated seats I assume the wiring would be the same or just doubled.
3) For wheels, I haven't decided yet. They will be to complement the rest of the car, so I figure they should be last.

Re: Chad82's '71 LeMans project

With all the colors you have chosen, I doubt you'll "screw it up" so just get whatever you like the most.
If your really worried about not likeing it. (after its done) Search the web for pics of all the different colors, and swing by a car show or two and see what they have...

...when I got my car, I though I was going to change it. After a web search, I felt I should keep it yellow when I get it done....

I think I have decided on roughly this:

Definitely going white base and blue stripes. The question is the positioning, number, and width of the stripes though. And if I put them on the roof or just hood and trunk.
