no spark to plugs help plse

1994 protege (familia) 1500cc auto,
hi heres the deal my daughters little mazda had a small eletriclcal fire burnt the distributor,cap,rotor,leeds,the odd wire or two, sorted out the wires out replaced distributor,cap,leedsall second hand parts,new rotor, now we have no spark tothe plugs have power to one of the six wires to top of the distributor & one of the three on the side any info help will be appriciated thank you mark

I'm used to working on my protege that has electronic ignition, but here are a few suggestions.
Look for bad fuses.
See if you have voltage at the ignition coil.
Check to see if the ignition switch is burnt out.

Find the coil positive with the ignition on you should have voltage. Check the negative it should also have voltage with the wire to the distributor disconnected.
Hook the wire back up hold a test light on the coil negative the test light should blink. This is with the starter turning.
If it doesn't blink buy a rebuilt distributor.
