Need advice.
my friend and i would like to get into radio control cars . I'm looking at a good off road stadium truck. I want to start out with electric as it seems to be easier . however I want something fast and that can handle some some very rough off roading. There are a few local parks that I can go to . I'm thinking 1/10 is a good size. I don't want anything huge .
I want to spend under $200 . the lower the better but i also want something i can upgrade later on for faster speed and mabye paint a custom shell. Thank you guys for the help. Oh , I'm in north jersey by hoboken and paramus , if anyone knows of a good rc shop around here please let me know |

Re: Need advice.
Traxxas Rustler XL5 would be a good starter truck. 35mph OTB and room for upgrades and they can take abuse. You can probably get everything to make it RTR (battery, charger) for under 200$

Re: Need advice.
Take a look at the Traxxas Slash. Might have a hard time fiinding one right now, but I think it would fit the bill perfectly. It's slightly larger size is great for bashing, but it's not too big. Also, with it's popularity there should be no problem finding a class to race if you're interested.
