86 Electra window switch
Hello, I'm having problems with the pod of 4 window switches on the drivers door. Most of the time the windows will go down, but not up. When the windows don't go up I have found that if I hit the switches a few times they will then work. Is there anyway to fix the old switches? The dealer wants $90 for the switches, which is 1/5 what I paid for the car. I have not been able to locate any aftermarket switches.

Welcome to AF. Try a Napa dealer for Dorman parts, they make make a cheaper repalcement.You could try taking it apart but the plastic components are fragile.
