Help!!! Need to remove 20-yr. old circuit breakers to fix automatic shoulder belt. How is it done, and what is needed to do this (any special tool/s)? We bypassed circuit breaker system, and motor assembly, and door switch works with door wire directly from the battery! Need to know how to get #22 circuit breakers removed & replaced on the driver side kick panel!

Re: 88 Camry seat belt repair
We have links to the factory repair manuals at the top of the forum. See if you can find one for your car.
Good luck, Sam

Re: 88 Camry seat belt repair
Check the driver's door wiring harness for fatigue breaks in the wires where the rubber sheath is. Older cars tend to have this problem with locks, windows, and shoulder belts failing...at any door. This is because the wiring goes through the driver's door master switches. Knead/pinch the harness then retry...if it works you found your problem.
