88-91 or 90-91 tail lights

I've researched a bit and I'm still getting mixed feedback.

As I've stated in earlier posts, my 1990 CRX-DX was stolen. The tail lights were victims of the theft.

I have been looking for some new/used tail lights locally and on ebay.

The question is: Do tail lights fit from 1988 - 1991 or is it 1990 -1991.

I've seen ads go both ways. I want to be sure before I order.

I don't know if they changed the size specs between the years, but I think they did change the styling of them between the years. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You can use 88 - 89 tail lights on a 90 - 91 same thing around. The diff is the 90 - 91's have the reverse lights in the center peice (if im not wrong) so you will have to make ur reverse light wire longer.

Theyll fit, they just look different.

88 and 89 are configured from inside to out: white, red, amber.

90 and 91 are configured from top to bottom: amber, red, white in center panel.
