~~> my project thread <~~
sup yall. some of you might remember me. i was hanging around here a year ago when i first bought my 89 hatch. well i finally got teh cash together for the project. and the engine got here yesterday.
![]() its a genuine JDM b20b weeeeeeeeeee ive still got to collect a ton of stuff for it since its gonna see some boost. but one thing thats causing me some problems is a metal head gasket. all the companies i can think of dont make a metal head gasket for a b20b. i see plenty for a b20b/vtec and of course b18s etc. so my first question is: does anyone know where i can pick up a metal head gasket for my engine. and i just started looking at stand alone engine managment systems. so any pointers before i look in the wrong direction would be appriciated.

Re: ~~> my project thread <~~
Hondata, crome, neptune, ectune. All will get you what you want for management. I like the hondata s300 unit because its all in one and easy to use.

Re: ~~> my project thread <~~
engine management all depends on how far you wanna go... if you only wanna basic street tune, you can do fine with a simple chip installation and crome or turboEdit.
If you're going all out, and you wanna run more than one map, etc... then you'll need something more advanced.. the s200 and s300 are both good from what I've heard, never used them tho. |
