I have a 2000 Grand Am Se and i want to put a new cd player in my car (CDX-GT310 Sony), if you need to know as my display has currently gone dim on me and can only see it when a bright light is on it (Sun), and i want a new one anyways...anyhow i went to Best Buy and they told me i needed a special harness because of some security measure in my car and want $185 for it. Do I need one of these? Where can i get one for cheaper so i dont get ripped off?
Thanks. |

Re: Pontiac Stereo question
GM's are the WORST for vehicle integration. You may have to have one of those what amounts to a dummy radio to keep the car from going haywire. Might want to check with the Pontiac forum on here.

Re: Pontiac Stereo question
there may be a way to short the wires in the plug to keep them, not sure of your specific guy.
