Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona - took me almost 2 years
Hi All,
finally, I did it. The Daytona, I started for the 60th Anniyersary-Group-Build is done. Overall - the Revell-kit is okay. Nothing spectacular and it seems as the kit is not a hundred percent correct concerning shape and size of the car. Details about the build: - kit: Revell - Paint: 3 layers of TS-08 and 2 wet coats of TS-13 - BMF chrome - S27 PE-Set of the Daytona Spider added as much as possible - Hasegawa Ferrari 250 TR wheel set on Tamiya Jaguar Mk. II tires - simple wash on the panel lines - grey flocking in the interior When I started off, I glued the separate front and back parts to the body and used lots of sanding as well as putying to get the shape right. The same happened to the seat as they came in separated parts. The rest is basically oob, except for the "free hand" wiring of the engine. There I used the BMF+matt black TS for the engine covers for the first time to get that "Ferrari"-label. Now the pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers, Robert!

Re: Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona - took me almost 2 years
i like the way you build the car...but i wish it was on a fujimi EM kit instead.
i can see those inaccurate areas on the revell body, but your skills somehow cover that up really well! great job! marc SGP

Hi Robert,
this one came out nice. Wheels look OK and distract from Revell's inaccuracies ![]() Excellent paint and good overall looks. Well done for such a kit! |

Welcome to the "Finished-one-Ferrari-in-two-years"-club!
Nice to see, iīm not alone anymore. Your finish proves it was worth all the time. Wouldnīt believe itīs a Revell, if i didnīt knew.

Re: Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona - took me almost 2 years
You did such a great job I wouldn't have thought it to be the Revell kit, until the hood opens.
Beautiful and clean build on my most favorite Ferrari. Chris |
