More of the same, or claims of change?

OK, looks like McCain V Obama (alphabetical if you must know) for the elections in November. Yes, I know that it's not official until the caucuses, but come one.

I've reserved commentary until now (being that there's only 2 valid political parties in the US, which is a sad state of affairs) since it took them this long to decide.

Who are you for, and why?

I will vote for one of the oddball candidates which I will decide on at a later date. Democrats and Republicans have run this country into the ground with all of there bickering.

Now thats not fair Mike.

I see your poll list the members that participated. I'm not tipping my hat yet.

Still undecided but both parties have run this country into the ground. And WTF has the Democratic majority controlled Congress done since the mid-terms other than blaming G.W. all the time?

True enough that both the current parties haven't done a good job of managing. I think Bush & Co have done a worse than average job, so since IMO McCain is in the same mold I'd have to vote against him.

Re: More of the same, or claims of change?

I'm voting for the Republican Party so the candidate is irrelevant to me. I share no values with the liberals or Democrats or whatever you want to call them. IMO Obama and the Democratic Party is not the real answer for change in this country. The Republicans will be getting back to grassroots principles and ideals that true conservatives desire and demand. With the Demos in full power in the executive and legislative branches of government I see another disaster waiting for national security which includes the issues of illegal immigration and the fate of the our military. The Demos since the mid-terms haven't done jack shit since getting the majority. The economy went sour and gas prices soared with a Democratic majority Congress. They didn't even have the balls to go for impeachment proceedings against Bush. What change?....for the better or worse. The War in Iraq so far is a success especially compared to the Vietnam War days in which the Demos totally mismanaged and we had to bail out as a result.

Politics and economics/economy is 99% local and all the Demos have done in my area is raise taxes as usual, push for their worthless social programs and implement dumb and outrageous laws.
