For some reason www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t61651.html is closed so I'm starting this to clear things up.

well, since you wanna go calling names im done being polite. you obviously dont know what the hell i mean by "excessive". by definition its exceeding necessary, i thought that was common sense... my fault for assuming. so if perfect camber would wear totally even, either of your two detailed sketches are therefore excessive.
Saying someone is anal is not name calling, it means someone must have every thing just right, perfect. I was simply stating that I feel the miniscule tire wear dosen't make any difference but that you have a different opion and I have no problem with that. Sorry you thought I was calling you a name, I wasn't, I much prefer a friendly debate. If I didn't feel this way I would have said something derogatory to thebobs, who basically told me to fuck off.

nobody ever said that camber has a major affect on tire wear, all we said is that it does. and futher more, nobody asked for your definition of tirewear... hell i could make up some nonsense shit and say that youre all wrong(but i wouldnt do that, i prefer FACTS... i wish we ALL did).
Nobody including myselft has given hard proven FACTS in this thread. Every thing being said is based on opion or personal facts. The personal facts I have given are my own experiences with camber and toe.

If you want to buy a camber kit to make your tires last longer it is going to take a very very long time before the cost of your tires wearing minutely quicker catch up to the price of the kit. Like I've said a couple of times I have no problem with using a camber kit, just that my opinion is that if you're doing to make your tires last longer it isn't going to make a noticable difference.

ok then, from personal experiences we are both be correct. although i prefer being somewhat of a perfectionist.. rather than anal. i guess everyone has a different way of seeing things. i just said it'd be a good idea to have one, for wear purposes, because you cant be too safe when it comes to your car and such.
