Grand Marquis Towing Question
First off,I really do not want to buy a truck HEHE.
I Go once a month to bring electronic equipment upstate about 60 miles away. I am always having to pay a friend to use his truck. The stuff I bring all together is maybe 1000lbs. If that. Another friend, told me to go to uhaul and get a class 2 hitch put on. Will it eat up my trans if I get a little 4by6 trailer? What do you all think. Thanks again for all your help with this question and others. Shady1070 |

Re: Grand Marquis Towing Question
If you are not towing more than 1000 pounds, you should be OK with towing that weight. You may want to beef up the rear suspension. You can get air shocks, coil over shocks, load sensing shocks. Any of these will help you tow.
