1995 3.1l slipping transmission?

199r GA 3.1L with 115k. The transmission was acting like it was slipping alittle almost like motor was missing at mid throttle, had the transmission flujshed about 6-7k ago and it stopped. Is starting again. A mechanic said the trans filter needs to be replaced. Anyone have the same ploblem??

you will run into problems when your high mileage trany has been flushed.

I would try a fluid & filter change, if that doesnt help or makes it worse, might need rebuilt/replaced.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. Gonna R&R the filter and see.
