Timing Belt Cover

I took my timing belt cover off yesterday and found it in horrible shape. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new one?

Re: Timing Belt Cover

As far as I know, They dont sell new ones at the GM Dealer or any after market places anymore...... so the timing cover (#15 in the pic) will have to be a used one from the boneyard etc.. You can buy new dust seals for the cover, but the plastic cover itself they dont sell anymore? Try a GM Dealer in your area to make sure of it 1st, but I did a pretty good search online and cant find them new?...... You could try and repair yours. Others here have fixed them and just put a new dust seal in the cover. Rock auto sells new dust seals.

Re: Timing Belt Cover

I guess I will just try to repair it. Thanks for the wonderful exploded view though.
Thanks to everyone that has helped me here. I have been on automotive forums since 2003 and I must say I am VERY impressed with the people on this site!
