kickdown problems

i have an 88 iroc with a 5.7 tpi.when the car is in park and i rev it up or let it just idle it sounds awesome.but when im driving it especially in higher gears and i kick it down it bogs down and when i coast up a hill it starts bogging and acts like it wants to die.thanks for any help.

Tune up, fuel filter, air filters, set timing. If it still acts up after that, try a $7 coolant temp sensor. Or start with the sensor and go from there.
