Power window motor replacement

How do you replace the motor?
It is pop-rivitted together. Drill them out?
And add screws to secure everyting?

Hello morgan,yes they use rivits drill them out & rerivit or bolt.should'nt be to difficult to remove inside door panel you dont say fr./rear but either way...

Sorry for lack of info.
It is the passenger side door.

I drilled the rivitts out. but there is a large spring with a lot tension on it. I'm having an extermly difficult time trying to get it all lined up.

Is there some trick to this? I can get one hole to line up , but can't get the rest to pivot on it to line up.

Any suggestions??????
