whats the best modable car for 15k-30k

ive been looking around alot lately and i cant find that right car. i really leaning toward a scion tc and i want to beef it up alot but i dont know if thats the best way to go... any suggestions????thanks

very vague question. coming from a tC owner, it is def. not at the top of the list. w/ a trd supercharger you can run high 14s. but theres alot more and better platforms for your price range. a used evo IX would be a fine choice

What kind of racing do you want to do?

Do you care more about looks than speed?

Will you have to drive the car in the snow?

Will you have to drive the car a lot (over 10k miles/yr)

i dont really care about looks but then again i dont want to be driving something hideous you know

if i can get enough money to put into to it i will pu tit in shows and stuff and just street race with friends

i wont have to drive in snow (N.O., LA )

and college is only like 15 miles away and work is a shorter distance so i should be doing like 13K miles a year

I really leaning toward the tc although the thought of a v4 scares me i kinda want a v6 too

Yeah, the tC isn't exactly a fast car. it's not slow, but it has the same engine as the base model Camry.
