Looks excellent, really nice work.I am assuming you used the kit decals for the purple sections on the sides and roof? How difficult were they to apply?

Re: Jaguar XJR 8

Beautiful job. I just done putting some primer on this same kit. I have the newest issue which despite the box art does have the Silk Cut decals. What color did use for the headlight areas so they match the decals? They do not match Tamiya's Lavender as called out for their kit. I have old original build up that's in bad shape but I do remember I used the decals for the roof and they all fit very well.

Excellent looking model. I too am curious about the purple area, as I have this kit in my to-do pile and the decals look quite daunting.

Thank you all!
Several responses to your quistions. On car aren´t used no purple decals only to strip the window.Decals are only a yellow-green belts round.Purple is airbrush from the color GSI: C 67-70% + C 100-30%.
With decals the tyre was no problem.Green color to the lights I used Tamiya X-5

I thought the top area looked too good to be decals. So you masked and painted the purple sections?? Top job!!!!

Yeah, I concur with the others. This is a very fine looking build of a great car.
They just don't make'em like that anymore...
