Wire

I have 2008 silverado and need to run 2 wires through the firewall. need help locating a spot. thanks

Just look around for the best open spot.
Or if there is a big rubber groment with just a few wires add a couple of more to it.

Get a metal coat hanger; bake sure there are no burrs on the end to nick wiring insulation; and feed it through. You'll then know if it goes all the way through or not.

In my 2002; nothing went through the firewall; I took all the carpet/sound deadening out looking for a place. There was a huge wiring plug/pass through with connectors on either end that sent all wires through to the engine.

There WAS a spot under the E brake pedal where I found a centerpunched hole with nothing behind it. I used this spot to punch through for the +12v for my amp and AC Inverter.
