1/24 Hasagawa Joest Porsche 962C

Finished this model and it's now on display in the model shop where I work. Was good fun to build. Thanks for looking

Yep, looks good. Looks like the 'decal-in-the-window' trick worked wonders for rejuvenating the decals.

Very very nice.
The Tamiya 962 I built has an aerial on the roof. I think it'll add a nice finish to yours?

Ah I knew there was something I'd forgotten! I did have a go at melting a sprue into an aerial (did it before on my F2001) but I wasn't brave enough to use any of the sprues I had left as they were all a bit short and I kept bruning myself. Probably try again if I get an opportunity. Heard somewhere guitar string works quite well so I might trim the end off the headstock end of one of my guitars, should be long enough

I agree. Such smooth lines. Sometimes you have to hate modern aerodynamics!
