I have a 1994 buick park ave ultra with an aftermarket keyfob, it worked great til today--I remember locking the car with it and it worked fine before i went to bed and this morning when i went to unlock the car it didn't work
I also noticed that the dome light didn't come on either when the door was ajar.... I paniked and thought my battery was drained and nope the car started right up. I do have an aftermarket stereo and speaker set-up with subs. I checked those and all the connections was fine and it also sounded fine. So i drove to work with the windows cracked and when i went to turn off my car everything shuts off: stereo, power to windows, heater. I usually have that window period even with the car off to have time to shut the windows and turn down the stereo until i open the door.
do the main problem is, I lost my keyless entry to lock or unlock--the trunk doesn't even open. My dome light doesn't come on when I open the door(it does work manually and the car chimes when door is open and key is in the ingnition). Power cuts off when car is shut off before door is open oh also the car doesn't lock the car nor unlocks the car when i put it in drive or park.
any help is appreciated, its a shame this all happed at once and could it be a fuse problem? My windows didn't roll up or down before cause my controls on the side of my seat was shorting/touching the frame on the seat.
