new to me

thinking about newer ride, mine now is 98 z71 149000 5.7.. looking at 2004 ext cab 4x4 4.8l 32000 miles no extra accys on it.then other choice is 2005 crew cab 5.3 36000 on it it has everything except sun roof that you can get. already has window vents, mudflaps steps, tonneau cover price diffrence is $2300. i can't decide if i would notice the even smaller bed on the crew cab any opinions

Personally if you are going to use the truck as it was designed (hauling or towing anything) get the 5.3
If you just want a truck to have a truck, get the 4.8

Re: new to me

check the transfluid because those years had cooler problems. I would go for the 5.3.
